Carol Spier's design

The six-wheeled Nautilus Nautilus car, which was featured in Sean Connery’s fantasy adventure "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", 2006, is being offered for sale. Spier was responsible for the design of the car that was used throughout the movie and was the subject in many promotional material and posters. The car is 22-foot long and has two axles at its front and one at its rear. It features a silver grille featuring a Ganesha image.

The chassis of two Cadillac Fleetwood limousines was used to build the Spirit of Nemo. The designers used a Land Rover Fire Tender chassis to meet the cabriolet requirements, as well as a special carbon fiber and kevlar composite. The car's frame is finished in bronze, brass, and 18k Gold.

Land Rover fire tender

The Nautilus Car, the six-wheeled car based on the Land Rover Fire Tender, is heading to auction. The car was custom built by Carol Spier, and features a gilded body and bonnet. The six-wheeled vehicle has a Rover V8 engine and a steel sub frame. The interior features a brown leather interior with a silver-colored lining. The silver grille represents the Hindu god Ganesha.

Carol Spier was the designer of the car, and her work was featured prominently in promotional posters. It was built with scaffolding for close-ups. It was originally a Land Rover fire truck, but it was modified for filming. To improve the size and performance of the film, the production team used a Rover V8 motor and a steel frame. It is still quite a showpiece, but its unique appearance has added to its value.
