All-new S3

The All-new Audi S3 sports car was introduced in August 2006. It features a three-door body style and a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 221 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The S3 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that is part of the Volkswagen Group and is fitted with a larger intercooler. It is electronically-limited to 250 km/155 mph.

All-new A3

The All-new Audi A3 2015 has a small, comfortable and fun-to-drive car. It also has a mature feeling. Its smooth ride and quiet cabin make everyday commutes more enjoyable than ever. The turbocharged engine offers solid low-end power, while excellent fuel economy is another plus. Despite being a compact car, the A3 is still surprisingly agile when cornering.

Reliable

The Reliable A3 Audi 2015 is one of the best-selling midsize luxury sedans in the world, and for good reason. It handles well on twisty roads and is quiet on the highway. It's not particularly responsive or precise in Sport mode but it does feel responsive and gives the driver some control. The car's 2.0T turbo engine provides plenty grip and all models have forward collision mitigation devices.

Comfortable

The 2015 Audi A3 has a high level of comfort and is easy-to-drive. The front seats are quite comfortable and provide good lateral support. The back seats, however, are a bit cramped. Although this car has enough trunk space for a full-size autowriter, it is not large enough to accommodate tall people. However, this is not the end of the comfort-level offered by the A3.

FAQ

What qualifications is required to become an mechanic?

A series of exams is necessary to become a mechanic. These include:

  • A general knowledge test
  • A practical examination
  • An apprenticeship test

These tests are designed for you to understand the basic concepts and principles of mechanics before your start as a technician.

After passing these tests, you will be eligible to become a mechanic. An apprenticeship is still required. This will involve training in the trade.

You'll need to attend classes and workshops to learn everything you need to know about repairing vehicles. You'll also have to work alongside experienced mechanics.

If you want to be a successful mechanic, it will take concentration and attention to detail. You will need to pay careful attention to every aspect when repairing vehicles.

To be a successful mechanic, patience and perseverance are essential. If you don’t enjoy following instructions, this might not be the right career path.

This job is for you if you are passionate about cars and love fixing them.

What type of job is there for a car mechanic?

There are three major areas of employment that car mechanics work in:

  • Automotive repair shops
  • Dealerships
  • Independent garages

Automotive repair shops

It's where most people start to think about becoming a mechanic. It's the easiest way for most people to get started. Either work for someone else's shop or you can start your own.

If you are interested in working at a shop you will need to apply for membership to a union. Once you're accepted into the union, you'll receive training from the union.

You'll be ready for work once you have completed the training.

If you decide to open your own garage, you'll need to register with the government. After you have registered, you will need to meet certain standards.

After you have registered, you will be issued a license to operate your garage.

Your license will permit you to sell spares parts and perform minor repairs. It will not permit you to fix major engine issues.

In addition to selling spare parts, you'll also be expected to offer advice and guidance to customers.

Dealership jobs

Most dealerships only employ mechanics who have a specific skill set. They might specialize in one area, such as brakes and tires.

Some dealerships hire general mechanics to handle all aspects of car repair.

These positions often require applicants to undergo specific training before being allowed to work. This allows employers to select the most qualified candidates for their roles.

Some dealerships recruit students right out of school. These graduates already have a basic understanding of mechanical engineering, so they are able to learn all about cars.

Independent garages

Independent garages do not belong to any dealership. They tend to be focused on high-quality service.

Because independent garages aren't affiliated with any company, they can afford to pay higher wages. As a result, these jobs are generally better paid than those at dealerships.

Independent garages don't necessarily make for better work environments. Many owners prefer to run their businesses themselves rather than delegate responsibility to employees.

So you may find yourself working long hours without having any say over what happens during the day.

Expect to earn lower salaries than if you were working in a dealership.

The good news is that you can easily switch between different kinds of jobs. Ask your employer if you would like to work as a mechanic at a dealership.

You could also apply directly to an owner of a garage if that's what you want.

It's not always easy to find a job. There are many other factors that can influence your earnings.

For example, the type of vehicle you repair and whether you charge extra for labor.

Does it matter what college I go to?

No, not really. In terms of getting into the auto industry, there is no distinction between colleges. There are some schools that offer more specific programs than others.

What should I know about car mechanics

You don't need to know anything about cars to work as an auto mechanic. You only need to know how to fix them. Most people start by fixing things like changing tires or fitting brake pads.

You will need to understand written instructions, read diagrams and follow the basic rules of good practices. You'll also need to be able to judge whether parts need replacing or repairing.

It is important that you have proper training and guidance before you attempt to repair vehicles. This is especially true when you are dealing with costly components like engines and transmissions.

Although you won't have to know much about automobiles, you must be familiar with the basics of mechanical engineering as well as physics. This involves understanding how engines work and how brakes work.

It is also important to remember that you will need to be able to handle many situations. If your vehicle has been in an accident, you might need to be able to handle it. Also, you'll need to be familiar with dealing with accidents or breakdowns.

Finally, you need to be willing and able to quickly learn new skills. In order to be able diagnose and fix problems, you will also need to know how to do simple maintenance tasks such tightening bolts.
